While working with many of the world’s leading advertisers, we have noticed that paid social marketers are often dealing with high volumes of data. Simultaneously, most tools don’t quite meet the demanding needs of performance analysis.

Pivot Tables makes it easy to analyze your performance with various breakdowns and flexible columns. Columns can use custom metrics and/or expressions such as sums with different weightings.
Do you need to evaluate your week-by-week performance? Try the weekly pivot to see how your campaign performance evolves on a weekly basis.
Want to see which ad formats are bringing in the results? Start with a breakdown for Facebook delivery and drill-down from there.
A creative refresh ahead? Use our powerful creative pivots and identify creative formats, media, and other ad components to guide the creative design.
How is my advertising funnel performing? Pivot across multiple accounts and campaign objectives to get a broad view of your performance.
You can also use custom functions to break down your naming conventions into individual parts. Extract any part in the name and see the results grouped by that.
2. Take Action With Simple Bulk-Editing: Bids, Budgets, Statuses
If you see that your performance is dipping and you want to pause a campaign, you can make the edits directly in the reporting view on the campaign level – without having to navigate back to Campaign Manager or Ad Set level.
In fact, you can adjust bids, budgets, and statuses in bulk straight from the reporting view (more actions will be added in the future). You can also review the changes before they go live.

3. Integrate Data From Different Sources for Easy Analysis
Pivot Tables allows you to make better use of all the integrations that Smartly.io already offers: Google Analytics, DoubleClick Search, MMPs like Adjust, Appsflyer, and Kochava, as well as server-to-server data integrations that bring in data from our advertisers’ own systems.
With Pivot Tables, you can compare different attributions and sources of data side by side in the same report. You can also track multiple KPIs like CTRs or CPA for different points along the funnel.
4. Saved Views and a Smoother Reporting Workflow
It’s easy to create, edit, save, and share reporting views with your team, saving you time and streamlining team communication. A saved view stores all parts of the reporting view: its name, dimensions, columns (and their widths), accounts, sorting, filtering, and timeframe.
Our ultimate goal is to eliminate all workflows that require exporting data from Smartly.io only to be transformed into an Excel sheet (or any other spreadsheet) just to analyze your campaign performance.
5. Effortless Campaign Quality Assurance
Double checking campaign setups can be a pain - especially when you’re running tens of campaigns at once. With Pivot Tables, it’s straightforward to check e.g. that the campaign targeting is correct by showing them as columns or by pivoting them.
