We at Smartly.io have a fantastic opportunity to join our FP&A and Revenue Operations team in London. You will be reporting directly to the Director of Finance, FP&A and Revenue Operations and be the primary Finance Business Partner to the VP of Customer Success. You will be entrusted with supporting and enabling frontline go-to-market teams to succeed by providing strategic direction and operational excellence.

As the FP&A and Revenue Ops Business Partner at Smartly.io, you will

  • Be the ‘go to’ finance and operations contact for the VP of Global Customer Success and Head of Partnerships. 
  • Co-develop the existing business forecasts for the business (both top down and bottom up) and Partnerships forecast by Platform.
  • Calculate client profitability and ensure any action points from the findings are taken into consideration by the business when it comes to decision making. 
  • Work with your business partners to build any investment cases and initiatives to ensure any incremental spend aligns with Smartly’s objectives. 
  • Forecast Customer Success and Partnerships headcount based on productivity metrics with focus on continuous improvement.
  • Safeguard the Customer Success and Partnerships budgets.
  • Produce a monthly finance business pack to report on key KPIs and financial metrics for your business partners. 
  • Ensure the compensation structure for the Customer Success team reflects the needs of the business. Set targets, calculate achievements and own reporting of the plan. 
  • Support the revenue systems team in ensuring specifications for current tools properly support the Customer Success team. 

We're definitely looking for you, if you

  • Have 6+ years’ experience in FP&A and/or Revenue Operations or Sales Operations
  • Financial modeling experience, both building and maintaining models 
  • Ability to work closely with commercial teams and translate their operations into financial meaning
  • Detailed and data driven
  • Have strong relationship management skills
  • Show sophisticated Google Workspace and Microsoft Office skills - Excel (pivot tables, vlookups), Powerpoint, Word; SQL proficiency also desirable
  • Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or other) preferable
