Smartly.io's Global Partnerships Team is responsible for growing our strategic partnerships with platform and integrated partners. As a part of Smartly.io's journey becoming a full multi-platform player, we need to nurture and improve our relationship with platform partners like Facebook, Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok and Google in order to drive new business, retain & grow existing customers, improve our thought-leadership position and product-market fit and coordinate internal activities across different functions.

As Partner Manager, you will report to the Director of Platform Partnerships and work closely with the regional Sales & Customer Success leads and teams, and multiple other functions across the company to strengthen Smartly.io's position in the region. The team rolls up to the Chief Development officer. You will play a key role in developing growth strategies and carrying out strategic projects with platform partners. You will also function as a crucial link between partners and our product development team. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of the fast-paced online marketing industry, allowing you to continue to learn & develop at speed whilst also growing and nurturing your own target market, handling relationships with large partners and scaling the operations of a high-reaching growth company.

As a Partner Manager at Smartly, you will:

  • Build continuously better relationships and implement joint business plans with the partners (e.g. Facebook, Snapchat, Pinterest) and create positive trust towards Smartly.io in your region
  • Build and nurture relationships with key partner stakeholders
  • Improve platform partners' awareness of the Smartly.io offering and success stories in order to ensure a good understanding of the value Smartly.io provides
  • Systemically map platform partners' organizations and share insights to other Smartly.io teams what actions they should take (e.g. engage with specific Facebook teams)
  • Work closely with the regional leadership and other key internal stakeholders to drive growth and support the region's business
  • Support sales teams in driving new customer acquisition (e.g. join customer pitches/demos) & support product marketing with narrative and solution packaging towards partners
  • Work closely with customer success and support driving growth for key customers and up-sell Smartly.io multi-product offering
  • Act as local extension for Smartly.io product management & development and support developing our product & services
  • Act as Smartly's main POC for partner programs and initiatives
  • Organize business reviews and joint events with partners

We're definitely looking for you if you have:

  • Solid understanding of the online advertising ecosystem and 5+ years of hands-on experience in Partner Management, Business Development, Customer Success or Product Management
  • Experience working with partners/publishers like Facebook, Snap or Google and proven capability to create strong relationships and trust
  • Demonstrated previous experience managing cross-functional projects across offices and time zones
  • A minimum 5+ years of digital marketing experience
  • Great communication skills to be able explain complex concepts clearly and efficiently
  • Demonstrated capability to work cross-functionally and across offices and time zones
  • Experience collaborating with product and development teams to flesh out solutions in light of customer needs
  • Are able and willing to travel for meetings, conferences and industry events
