Smartly.io acquired Ad-Lib.io in January 2022 to advance Smartly.io's cross-channel reach from social to now include dynamic creative optimization across programmatic, CTV and the entire Google ecosystem. Smartly.io is supporting Ad-Lib.io in recruiting and wants to offer all applicants the possibility to apply also for Ad-Lib.io's open roles.

 

We are now looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join Ad-Lib.io's fast-growing sales organization and develop the team in EMEA. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for developing new business opportunities and closing sales to achieve established annual sales goals for the market. You will work closely and in partnership with Global Sales and the Client Services team to identify and cultivate leads, as well as effectively close business. Communication, listening, and strategic selling skills are critical to success. You exhibit high emotional intelligence and professionalism and are a true consultative business partner with your clients.

The environment you'l be working in is fast paced and frequently changing, and we believe in setting the pace rather than following it. We are seeking a candidate who is comfortable working in an ambiguous environment and shares our desire to generate impact and lead from the front.

You will be responsible for developing new sales across your region. Foster key business relationships with potential and existing clients. Develops client-specific strategies and solutions to increase sales and meet expectations for profitability and client satisfaction. 

As a Regional Sales Manager at Ad-Lib.io you will...

  • Identify sales opportunities and consultatively sell the Ad-Lib solutions and services to new clients.
  • Develop client-specific strategies aimed at achieving revenue, gross profit and other financial targets.
  • Develop effective relationships with senior key client contacts.
  • Stay abreast of leading industry trends and sales methodologies.
  • Build and maintain subject matter expertise on industry trends, market activities and competitor strategies.
  • Establish and maintain a network of industry contacts through participation in professional/trade events and other networking organizations.
  • Produce, analyze and communicate sales forecasts and other reports to key collaborators in the company.
  • Manage sales pipeline and sales activities via Hubspot and through daily communication.
  • Manage RFPs responses and create/lead proposal presentations

We are looking for...

  • Experience in SaaS, AdTech/MarTech sales, online publishers, ad network, ad exchange, ad server, DSP, or other advertising sales roles
  • Strong communication skills and track record of closing new business opportunities and engaging with senior stakeholders (CMO, Marketing Director etc.), ideally in the ad-tech industry with a SaaS business model
  • Strong quantitative skills and negotiations ability, capability to lead negotiations for large global accounts
  • Ability to forecast opportunities and penetrate new business daily
  • Experience establishing long standing, consultative client relationships
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue expectations
  • Strategic global account coordination experience
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in written and spoken English (fluency in an additional language is a plus but not required).
