Smartly.io has an outstanding opportunity to join our Enterprise Revenue Operations Team as the Revenue Strategy and Operation Manager partnering with our go-to-market organization to drive us towards our ambitious growth goals. Reporting to the Global Head Of Revenue Operations you will be entrusted with supporting and enabling frontline go-to-market teams to succeed by providing strategic direction and reducing friction in the sales process. The ideal candidate will define a high-level vision for the go-to-market organization and develop strategies to meet those goals.

In this role you will collaboratively translate strategic roadmaps into clear business plans with established metrics and goals. You will work to optimize and improve our current processes, systems, and programs so that we can best meet our goals. Additionally, you will help drive new strategic program initiatives that level up our talent and continue to open more opportunities for the customers we currently serve. With your hands-on approach and ambition towards building the world class go-to-market engine you?ll allow us to hit our growth goals in 2021 and beyond!

As a Revenue Strategy and Operations Manager, you will...

  • Continuously analyse our go-to-market organization and efforts to be able to find ways to improve
  • Act as a key stakeholder for our operational delivery on many different fronts
  • Support our global deal desk and pricing analysis activities
  • Develop and build our key revenue and pipeline analytics and reporting towards the Board, Leadership and Functional leadership
  • Participate in our annual budgeting process as well as quarterly business reviews
  • Work on developing, implementing and maintaining global compensation models for the whole go-to-market organization
  • Identify key performance indicators to measure sales efficiency and effectiveness, and provide analytical support in order to develop and define goals and key levers for business growth and improvement
  • Inform budget setting process through data and analysis. Assign budgets, sales targets and incentive structures to drive performance and ensure attainment of corporate growth objectives
  • Drive critical, cross-functional strategic initiatives to accelerate efficiency and growth and ensuring progress against overall corporate objectives
  • Partner with the sales team to craft and develop sales strategy as well as lead territory planning and account assignment process
  • Author and deliver high-impact presentations and plans to corporate leadership
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve existing business operations and ensure seamless execution of new initiatives
  • Identify key drivers of business and align cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, finance, customer success, etc) against those drivers
  • Support Customer Success methodologies when developing GTM strategy for enterprise accounts

We are definitely looking to start the discussions with you, if you have...

  • 3-5 years of working experience from management consulting, Investment Banking and/or operations development
  • Analytical and structured problem solver.
  • Get stuff done mentality and a bent towards fast execution and iteration.
  • Experience researching and manipulating complex and large data sets.
  • Strong knowledge and skills in spreadsheet and presentation software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Facilitation experience and the ability to lead programs such as strategy planning sessions.
  • Experience working across multiple functions/ business units, influencing and collaborating with others to successfully execute programs.
  • Experience working with sales operations function/ similar function in other companies is a plus.
  • Familiar with Salesforce, Tableau, Clari and SQL or any other form of database querying language is an advantage.
