Modanisa teams up with's Creative Services to increase ROAS during Ramadan



Modanisa is a Turkish online retailer offering modest fashion from more than 1000 different brands from 45 different unique designers in 6 different language options in 140 countries. They are a highly data-driven advertiser, especially on Facebook and Instagram, and look for the best possible ROI during special Sales and Marketing periods.

1 Problem

How can we create engaging ads that scale across markets?

Since Ramadan is traditionally one of the most important sales and marketing periods for Modanisa, the team was hard at work aiming to achieve high performance as well as scalable and customizable creatives. With having to adapt these creatives across 140 different countries, it was clear that Modanisa needed a solution that could easily help scale to this degree without losing the ability to embrace the season and incorporate traditional Ramadan creative symbols into its assets.

With the team wanting to ensure that all of its ads were on theme and consistent with one another, localized and relevant to the market that the ad was served in, as well as wanting to improve performance and push creativity, Modanisa began to look for a partner to help it achieve its campaign goals.

2 Solution

A fresh creative campaign approach and’s automated ads

Modanisa found a partner in the Creative Studio team. The team has been an integral part in helping to plan, create, and execute a thoughtful and consistent campaign across global markets. Acting as an extension of its team,’s Creative Studio group consulted on Modanisa’s Ramadan concept to offer fresh ideas and ways the team could tackle this year’s Ramadan.

With a campaign strategy in place, then assisted with the creation of multiple templatized video variations that displayed a variety of discounts and offers to catch the consumer's eye. These templates were created in both 9:16 and 1:1 formats so ads could easily be adapted across stories and collection placements on Facebook, Instagram, and Snap.

After creating multiple templates, the final step was to leverage’s Automated Ad feeds and its static and video templates tool to create hundreds of video ads with relevant and localized offers in the ad’s specific market language. From initial concept to launch, Modanisa and built and served engaging ads to make the most out of this year’s Ramadan season, achieving 41% higher ROAS, compared to last year’s Ramadan period and 50% higher CTR compared to similar ads that were running at the same time.
