As the Office Operations Manager for Asia Pacific based in Singapore, you play an important role in building and maintaining a vibrant and enjoyable workspace and culture that motivates Smartlies to do their best work. You make sure everything runs smoothly, primarily at our Singapore office and remotely managing aspects for our Tokyo and Sydney offices. Fixing potential problems before anyone else sees them is part of the job!

You will report to the Global Head of Operations based in Helsinki and be part of a global Operations team spread across three continents.

We're definitely looking for you, if youAre a team player who is motivated to take on and drive projects independently.Possess experience in office operations, facilities and move management.Are tech-savvy and able to learn new programs and technologies quickly.Possess good time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.Have attention to detail and problem solving skills.Are an effective negotiator and relationship builder.Have a calm mind when things get hectic.Are able to adapt to rapidly changing business environment and willing to work across different time zones as necessary.Have strong spoken and written communications skills in English. Proficiency in an Asian language is a plus.
As the Office Operations Manager for Asia Pacific, you willTake full ownership of building functional operations in the Asia Pacific region and driving continuous improvement of operational systems and processes.Negotiate contracts, run administrative work and act as an interface to property management and office vendors.Help to organize weekly all-hands, team offsites and other internal events.Handle the day-to-day management of the office to make sure everything runs smoothly, including providing office IT support as well as ordering, organizing and stocking office supplies, delicious snacks and beverages, etc.Maintain a clean, organized, functional and comfortable office space, while encouraging others to do the same.Work cross-functionally with regional and global teammates to cohesively execute the Smartly.io environmental brand across offices.Assist in facilitating an overall positive employee experience through ongoing operational support.Provide support to the People team in executing onboarding flawlessly to make our new Smartlies feel welcome and ready to go.Take a responsible approach towards spending and managing office finances as it relates to events etc.Be involved in special projects as necessary.
