Technical Partner Manager

Location: San Francisco, CA / New York, NY, Commitment Full-Time, Team Partnerships

Smartly.io is looking for a Technical Partner Manager who will help us grow our partnership network and enhance our product offering. In this role, you will function as the owner and crucial link between integrated partners and our product development team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong business development background, a comprehensive understanding of the online advertising ecosystem and the ability to lead both commercial and technical partnership initiatives. You’ll be at the forefront of the fast-paced online marketing industry, allowing you to continue to learn & develop at speed, managing relationships with large partners and scaling the operations of an ambitious growth company.

As a Technical Partner Manager at Smartly.io, you will…

  • Identify and establish new relevant partnerships that support the company’s strategic goals 
  • Pre-evaluate incoming partnership offers and then create a case and timeline for the partnership
  • Lead the technical and commercial onboarding of new partner integrations
  • Nurture and improve existing partnerships and monitor their current status and needs
  • Create go-to-market plans with product marketing to increase product adoption and generate demand
  • Be the main point of contact and link between the partners and Product, Sales and Marketing
  • Represent Smartly at events and case studies
  • We’re definitely looking for you if you have…

  •  3-5 years experience developing and maintaining partner relationships or similar partner development background
  • Hands on experience, owning the full cycle of partner development: from initiating contact, to agreement, to onboarding and adoption
  • Excellent negotiation skills, product orientation and deep understanding of platforms and client needs
  • Experience collaborating with product and development teams to flesh out solutions in light of customer needs
  • Experience of working externally and internally to develop integrations and enable the sales and success organization
