Smartly.io has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced leader to join a brand new department. We’re looking for a Regional Director of Mid-Market, working closely with the Regional GM to help us continue on our growth trajectory.
The Director of Mid-Market will be tasked with building and leading this new division within our commercial organisation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sales background with experience from within an inside sales division/Mid-Market Sales team and have experience of solution-based selling. You must be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, selling over the phone and interacting with prospects at all levels within an organization. This position has a base salary, commission/bonus and stock options. As a Director of Mid-Market (EMEA) at Smartly.io, you willDefine Mid-Market Sales goals with the Regional General Manager, build and implement processes, help design service offering, and the correct product and hiring to execute against set goals and quotasAttract, hire, inspire, develop, and retains exceptional Sales Account Executives (AEs) and Customer Success Managers (CSMs)Provide leadership and guidance and teach strong sales skills and develop career plans with each team memberBuild a positive team culture while inspiring and motivating the team to achieve its goals while having fun Have a strong working knowledge and experience of how to generate leads and manage prospects and the ability to articulate our Smartly’s USPs, navigate objections and foster relationshipsEnsure AES and CSMs collaborate to optimize new business and customer satisfactionConduct web-based demos and assist in the development of sales collateral required to accelerate customer acquisitionCultivate lasting business relationships with customers through consultative sales tactics and effective account management practicesWork with Sales Operations to manage team pipelines to ensure revenue and meeting goals are met.Define and report on KPI’s, metrics to measure the performance Use Salesforce.com to maintain excellent records and report on Mid-Market Sales activity and metricsCollaborate closely with Enterprise Sales and Regional Mid Market Directors in other regions as well as Sales Operations and FP&AUnderstand and internalize the Smartly’s mission and vision and translate them into a Mid-Market Sales strategyForecast monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets on a timely basis.
We’re definitely looking for you if youHave 8+ years experience in sales, 4 years in a people management roleHave proven track record driving growth by creating and executing growth plansHave excellent coaching and training skillsLead with passion, enthusiasm, integrity and commitment: Have outstanding written and oral communication and presentation skills and are fluent in EnglishHave strong knowledge and experience of the online ad industry industry Strong analytical skillsHave the ability to build strong relationships at all levels Have a track record of performance against quota and strategic goals. Are highly organized and adept in managing time Demonstrate excellent relationship management, having developed and cultivated lasting customer relationships Have the ability to engage and leverage internal resources cross functionally Hold a Bachelor's / Master’s degree
