Global food solutions group and meal kit delivery service provider, HelloFresh, is focused on driving growth among new customers while continuing to delight existing audiences across social media platforms.

Tasked with operating advertising across 13 different countries, the creative and performance media teams at HelloFresh sought to test Meta’s Advantage Shopping Campaigns (ASC) powered by machine learning and AI.

The team was stuck taking precious time manually uploading assets, so they tapped into the Smartly solution set for a more agile approach. Hello Fresh used Smartly Image Templates to enhance efficiency and simplify the ad creation process. Smartly enabled the team to save valuable time and keep campaigns running smoothly with the ability to edit and pause different ads based on performance. Hello Fresh is running campaigns with collection, carousel, image and video ads to engage with audiences across all channels.

“Implementing smartly for our ASC campaign led to a 9% lower CPA by using Image Templates compared to business as usual process,” noted Emiri Dandoy, Team Lead at HelloFresh. “We also saw 80% time saving. As a result we can spend more time now on strategy, testing and learning, and creative optimization. We definitely wouldn’t be where we are today without Smartly as our partner.”

Smartly supports HelloFresh by elevating their team’s abilities to advance personalization of ad content, messaging, and targeting all in one platform. Because Smartly was among the initial Meta business partners to add Advantage Plus Shopping Campaigns, HelloFresh seamlessly integrated ASC into their existing workflow.
